Policy Terms
- Purpose and scope This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid services made available by Juba Cars Trading through www.jubacars.net, its Android and iOS applications, dealer dashboards, invoices, quotations, and related marketplace channels. The policy is designed primarily for dealer-side paid services and future paid marketplace features.
- Marketplace transactions versus platform fees Juba Cars is generally not the seller of vehicles listed by dealers. As a result, this Policy mainly governs fees paid to Juba Cars for platform services and does not automatically govern refunds between a buyer and a dealer for the purchase of a vehicle, deposit, inspection, or off-platform commercial arrangement unless Juba Cars expressly states otherwise in writing.
- Examples of platform fees Platform fees may include dealer subscriptions, listing packages, featured placements, promotional boosts, advertising services, verification fees, inspection-related coordination fees, or other marketplace tools introduced from time to time.
- General refund rule Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written offer, service page, or mandatory law, fees for digital marketplace services become non-refundable once the relevant listing, campaign, placement, subscription period, or paid feature has been activated, published, delivered, reserved, or materially used.
- Possible refundable scenarios Juba Cars may consider a refund or credit where a paid feature was charged in error, not delivered at all, duplicated because of a system problem, or cancelled before activation. Supporting evidence and timely notice may be required.
- Non-refundable situations The following are ordinarily non-refundable unless Juba Cars agrees otherwise or law requires a different result: completed promotional periods, already-published featured listings, consumed subscription periods, verification work already performed, custom advertising work, third-party pass-through charges, and services terminated for policy breach, misrepresentation, fraud, or failed compliance review.
- How to request cancellation To cancel a recurring dealer plan or another paid service, the customer must send a request through the dealer dashboard or by written notice to info@jubacars.net before the next renewal date. Cancellation should clearly identify the service and the desired effective date. Juba Cars may require verification before acting on the request.
- Effect of cancellation Cancellation stops future renewals from the confirmed effective date but does not normally reverse charges for the current billing term or for services already delivered. Access to premium tools or boosted visibility may continue until the end of the paid period unless Juba Cars states otherwise.
- Refund method and timing Where Juba Cars approves a refund, it may be returned via the original payment method, mobile money, bank transfer, account credit, or another lawful method selected by Juba Cars. Banking charges, transaction costs, currency-conversion losses, or payment-provider deductions may be withheld where permitted by law.
- Buyer-dealer disputes Any dispute relating to the actual purchase or sale of a vehicle, the condition of a vehicle, dealer representations, a buyer deposit paid directly to a dealer, financing arranged with a dealer, or off-platform transaction steps should ordinarily be addressed first between the buyer and the dealer concerned, unless Juba Cars expressly administered the relevant payment or service.
- Chargebacks and disputed payments If a customer disputes a platform charge or initiates a chargeback, Juba Cars may suspend the relevant account, pause listings or promotional services, investigate suspected misuse, and request additional evidence. Customers are encouraged to contact Juba Cars first so the issue can be reviewed directly.
- Account closure A user may request closure of the account after active paid services have expired or been cancelled and any outstanding fees have been settled. Some billing, fraud-review, audit, support, and legal records may remain after closure as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Changes to this Policy Juba Cars may revise this Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published with a revised date and may also be communicated through dealer notices, email, or in-app messages.
